Who we are
This waitlist is operated by Modest Industries (“we”), trading as Ware Business Club. For any data question, email businessclub@modestindustries.co.
The business directory
Our public directory lists local business names and links to their own public websites, compiled once from publicly available information to help the community find each other. It does not include personal data beyond what a business already publishes about itself. If your business is listed and you'd prefer it wasn't, email businessclub@modestindustries.co and we'll remove it.
What we collect, and why
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. We use it for one purpose: to email you about early access and updates for this product.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. IP addresses are anonymised, and we do not use it for advertising or remarketing. It sets cookies in your browser; you can block or clear these in your browser settings, or use any browser add-on that opts out of Google Analytics.
Lawful basis
Consent: you tick the box when joining. You can withdraw at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link, or just reply asking us to remove you). We will not sell or share your email, and we won't use it for anything other than what you signed up for.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until the beta ends (whichever is sooner), after which we delete the list.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing businessclub@modestindustries.co. If you're in the UK/EU and unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the ICO.
